Kazakh Woman Jailed For Preparing Stepson For Suicide Bombing

TYRAU, Kazakhstan -- A court in Kazakhstan's western city of Atyrau imposed a seven-year prison term on a young woman for preparing her 12-year-old stepson to become a suicide bomber.

After a trial that was held behind closed doors, the 18-year-old woman was found guilty on June 18 of propagating terrorism and the torture of an underage child.
